This means a saving of 2/- in the £l. Mr H. Mills' stock-taking and winter sale is now in full swing and many § bargain seekers have already had their requirements fulfilled. There are still bargains aplenty and Mr Mills invifes shoppers to inspect his wares hefore purchasing elsewhere. On page 1 appears a list of some of the goods that are being sacrificed. The list is by no means complete as there' ;ire bargains in all departments too numerous to enumerate.

Mrs Massey announces in her advertisement, that all this season's goods are being offered at greatly reduced prices. Mrs Massey has a fine display 'of wearing apparel in her shop windows. A special line that should appeal is her good quality face cloth coats with fur collar and cuffs, which ure being sold at 59/G each. The usual price was £5 ss. The" Mirror also offers smart evening frocks in the very latest styles at give-away prices. Hurricane raincoats are also being featured this week, as are smart felts which are being disposed of at 12/6 and 7/11. Mrs Massey invites mothers to inspect the children's department at the Mirror.
