Radio Reception.
An allegation, that the Franklin i Electric-power Board's mains were in-
terfering with radio reception at Waiuku, was made hy Mr W. A. Booth, of ■■ that district, at yesterday's meeting of the board. The secretary. Mr S. P. Day, informed the hoard that he had j re-plied to Mr Booth slating it was the practice among power boards to demand a definite statement as to when' the interference was caused and also J a guarantee to pay any costs of inves- | ligation if it was found that the board's mains were not responsible for the interference. In other districts it was found that 95 per cent of the complaints were due to causes, other than j the hoard's mains. The secretary's action was confirmed.
