MINISTER FAREWELLED. i PRESENTATIONS MADE. | (Own Correspondent). The Papakura Methodist choir rendered the cantata entitled "Olivet to Calvary" in the Methodist church, Bombay last week under the conduotorship of Mr T. C. Seaton. Miss L. Mack and Messrs H. King and T. G.. Seaton took the solo parts, and a pleasing performance was thoroughly enjoyed. During the evening opportunity was taken to say farewell to the Reverend Mr Common and Mrs Common, who, after three years ministry in the Pukekohe circuit have been ti-ansferred to Kaukapakapa. The superintendent of the circuit, the Rev. H. L. Fiebig, eulogised the work of Mr Common as a minister and a colleague, wishing him every success in ; his new sphere of labour. On behalf of the congregation at Bombay Mr P. iJ. Wootten presented Mr and Mrs I Common with a suit case and expressed the appreciation of the good work done during the past three years.

On behalf of the ladies guild he presented Mrs Common with a beautiful jardiniere as a mark of the esteem and appreciation in which she was held by the ladies of the Bombay district.

Mr Common responded on behalf of Mrs Common and himself and bespoke the same support for his successor as that accorded him.
