FRANKLIN'S ALLOCATION.

HOW IT IS CONSUMED

The Franklin Electric Power Board's load particulars .-were furnished in a return presented at yesterday's meeting of the board b ythe engineer, Mr T. R. Overton.

It was shown that the total connected load at March 30, was 4085.39 k.w., as against 3973 k.w. the previous month, and was consumed as under: : —

748.93 k.w. for lighting; 1266.7 k.w. by 2093 heating and iron points: 850.4 k.w. by 141 ranges; 242.5 k.w. by 423 waterworks; 889 h.p. by 125 intustrial motors: -592 h.p. by 383 milking motors; 43 h.p. by 88 flat rate pumps; 49.5 h.p. by 21 drainage pumps.

There were 2484 connected consumers as compared with 2464 the previous month. There are 18 non connected. Seventy five connections were made for the month. The report was received.
