Hospital, in Parsons, Kansas, was sentenced to six months in jail for ‘possessing and transporting a bottle of liquor which he had in his travelling ( bag.’ He appealed to the Supreme i Court of the State on the ground that i his constitutional right to protection against search and seizure had been , violated when police officers searched his baggage without a warrant. The decision of the lower court in convicting him was upheld.” Under Prohibition it is the easiest thing in the world to become a criminal.
