EXCHANGE OF STUDENTS.
AUCKLAND AND nfMEIWHjE,
CONSIDERATION DEFERRED.
The advisability of arranging for an exchange of students between the Seddon Memorial Technical College, Auckland, and. the Technical High School, Pukekohe, was a subject introduced by Mr J. Patterson at the meeting of the Technical High School Board of Managers held last evening.
Mr Patterson pointed out that at the present time a number of boys in Pukekohe were desirous of receiving instruction in engineering, but there were no facilities in Pukekohe for such a course. On the other hand a number of boys attending the Seddon Memorial College were keen to learrv the scientific methods in agriculture, but they had no facilities for this course in Auckland, and he thought some arrangement could be made, whereby the Pukekohe boys could attend the Seddon Memorial and the Auckland boys could visit Pukekohe to receive instruction in agriculture.
As the suggestion opened up a big question, consideration was deferred, an . a special meeting will be convened for the purpose.
