MRS ROOSEVELT AND SON TO RAISE AND SELL CHRISTMAS TREES

Mrs Eleanor Roosevelt stated to-day that she and her son, Elliott, had entered into partnership on a commercial basis to raise Christmas trees bn the late President’*; LTvdepavk
estate. She explained that under her husband’s will she acquired a title to two-thirds of the Hyde Park land,* and could not afford to run it as a country place, as her mother-in-law had done. We hope to run the farm on a iarge enough scale to make it a real business,” she said. Her late husband began Christmas tree planting, “ and we shall sell Christmas trees just as he did.”
