ILLEGAL JEW IMMIGRANTS MAKE COMPLAINT TO THE UNITED NATIONS
(Ree. 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, August 20. The Jewish Agency m London stated that the illegal Jewish immigrants aboard the Ocean Vigour off Port l)e----bouc have cabled the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine requesting the committee to examine the conditions in which the 'refugees arc living. The message said; “We have for three weeks been confined in dark crowded holds, without beds and adequate washing and sanitary facilities. Under the constant intimidation o! British guards we do not know how much longer we can restrain ourselves, but our determination to land only in Palestine cannot be broken.” UNDERGROUND ARMS
