SCHOOL’S EFFORT IN “FOOD FOR BRITAIN.”—Ju 1917 a link was formed between. the Normal School, Dunedin, and the Holden Street School, Battersea, London, by an exchange of flags. Last year, the Normal School “adopted” the Holden Street School, and as a result the High Commissioner in London. Mr W. J. Jordan, handed over 20 food parcels Folloing this many Penfriends were made by pupils, and this year a special effort by the Normal School pupils, parents, head master (Mr J. McK. Miller), stall', and school committee has resulted in 54 food parcels and eight clothing parcels to the value of about £45. being sent to Battersea.
