Caversham. Caversham ran from Sim street, Maori Bill. Four packs went overly akari and skirted Flagstaff. The slow pack ran to the trig station and returned via the Bullock Track. The run home resulted: —Colts: It. Cain 1, It. Croot 2, J. Ashworth 3. Juniors: G. Campbell 1, D. Keene 2, J. Dickinson 3. Slow: 11. Graham 1, P. Watt, 2, K., Knox 3. Fast: F. Arthur 1, J. Cain 2, K. White 3. Civil Service. The five-mile race for the Anderson Cup was held from Forbury Park. W. Purton, the limit man,. was followed s£min later by the scratch man. W. Godby. At the turn Purton led from Bradshaw, Geddes, Mackersey, and Rudkin. Geddes took tho lead at Tahuna Park and ran in to a good win by 60yds from Mackersey and Bradshaw. Godby just beat Rudkin for fourth. Fastest time was A. R. Geddes’s 26min 47sec. University. The club championships were held over a stiff course around the Chisholm Park Golf Links, including road, beach, and much hill work. Results:—Senior championship (6J miles): B. G. Stanley 1, R. The annual Mornington schoolboys’ race was held along Elgin road. From a field of 15 starters the results were as follows: —D. Hay 1, R. Gough. 2, J. Galloway 3. The time for the distance (970yds) -was 2min 50sec, which was lsec outside the record. In the afternoon the club ran from St. Clair, two packs proceeding to Tomahawk, over Peninsula country, and home via Highcliff road. A road pack ran past Blackhead, along the beach to the Ivaikorai Stream and home via the Brighton road and through Corstorphine. The run home resulted: —Slow pack: A. Patton 1, L. Andrew's 2, B.
