OAMARU SECOND IN COUPON-SAVING EFFORT
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. June 21. Butter and meat coupons given in the New Zealand Famine Emergency Committee’s campaign to save more food for Britain passed the 11,000.000 mark last week, the sixty-second of the campaign. The total was made' up of 10.6:11,60;) meat and 408,0.14 butter coupons. First place on a' population basis was gained last week hv Gisborne, with Oamaru second and Palmerston North third. Last week’s contributions were 4.916 butter and 99,.‘3.‘)4 meat coupons.
