COMMITTEE SITS AT AUCKLAND ON MEDICAL EDUCATION
A session of a special committee set. lip by the Senate of the University of New Zealand to investigate medical education in the Dominion is being held at Auckland University College today and will be continued to-morrow. Deports and representations will be made by the Auckland Hospital Board, the Auckland branch of the British Medical Association, the branch, faculty of medicine at the Auckland Hospital, and other groups and individuals. Set up by the Senate when it sat in Auckland in January of last year, the committee has already met in Dunedin and will later visit Wellington and Christchurch. The members nr#:—Sir Thomas Hunter (chairman). Mr Justice Smith, Dr T. D. M. Stout (Wellington), Professor A., H. Tocker. Sir Hugh Aeland (Christchurch), the Very Bev. D. C. Herron, Sir Charles Herons (Dunedin), Mr W. H. Cocker, and Mr A. H. Johnstone, K.C. (Auckland).
