ARRESTS FOLLOW FIRE IN FILM STUDIO

The police have .arrested a stock room employee of tl\e Minerva Film Corporation_ who, they say, confessed under questioning that he w r as responsible' 1 for starting the recent fire. He is quoted by the . police as saying that a lighted cigarette end which lie dropped ignited a pile of scrap film, which in turn 6et fire,to petrol stored nearby. A later message states that the police have arrested 14 employees of tho Minerva Film Company following their claim that the fire which destroyed the building and killed 26 was due to the company’s criminal negligence. [Twenty-six persons were Ikilled and many others injured when the studios of the Minerva Film Corporation in Rome were gutted by fire on Tuesday. The victims included Mr John C.
