DUKE OF WINDSOR’S FUTURE PLANS UNCERTAIN
(Rec. 9 a.m.) LONDON, May 16. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, who arrived at Southampton from America last night, travelled to Sunninghill, •Buckinghamshire, to-day, where they will stay three weeks. The Duke said they would then go to their French villa, and later back to America. • Asked if he were thinking of settling in England, the Duke said it was a possibility, but, as in the case of everyone else, there was the question of finding a home.-, • The Duke was asked if he was think-' ingof taking up a job. He replied: “Well, I might some time, but I have nothing definite in mind. I never take life easy. I never have, and I never shall.” The Duchess said , she always wanted to get back to Europe.
