‘ STAR SPORTS ’ TO-NIGHT. The ‘ Star Sports,’ with all the sporting news of the day and a host of attractive features, will be on sale in the city at seven to-night. butchers walk off jobs. The butchers at Westfield freezing works have walked off their jobs. It is understood that they are dissatisfied with the decision of the tribunal set up recently by the Minister of Labour to inquire into the usages dispute which led to the previous five weeks’ strike. A report from Hamilton states that butchers from all works in the province will meet on Monday to discuss the tribunal’s decision.— Auckland message. CANTERBURY PARK TROTS.
