AMERICAN WARSHIPS IN BOSPHORUS
(Rec. noon.) ISTANBUL, May 2. The American aircraft carrier Leyte, the light cruiser Dayton, and the destroyers Purdy and .Bristol entered the Bosphorus to-day. They gave a 29-gun salute to mark the beginning of a four-day visit.
