EMPLOYEES RALLY ROUND EMPLOYER
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 29. This metropolis is preening itself on holding the New Zealand record for employer-employee co-operation. The holders of the blue riband are' a suburban furniture manufacturer, Mr G. C. Goode, and his stuff. Mr Goode’s premises were recently robbed of tools and equipment valued at over £250. To offset this loss the employees volunteered to work two Satin--dav mornings and give their pay back to “the company. “We are inclined to forget the better side of industrial relations,, such as this,” says Mr Goode.
