tram NEARLY REACHES MARKED DESTINATION.—This train car, at Stanford, Maine, U.S.A., jumped the rails while crossing the bridge over the Mousam lliver, plunged through the guard r.ail, and came to rest with the forward end suspended 15ft above the water. Ironically the destination sign reads “ River.” There were no casualties and the cause of the mishap was not ascertained.
