MADAGASCAR RISING
QUELLED BY FRENCH TROOPS (Rec. 11 a.m.) PARIS. April 2. The French Colonial Office said the native rising at Madagascar which began on March 31 had been quelled. French troops and aircraft yesterday carried out reprisals. -
