UNRRA SUPPLIES BOMBED

INCIDENT IN GHINA (Rec. 10.30 a.m.) SHANGHAI, April 2. In three successive attacks, planes, which are reported to have belonged to the Chinese Nationalist Government, bombed and machine-gunned a tank landing craft at Wanshens while it was unloading Unrra supplies at the Chinese Communist port of Shihkiuso, 60 miles south-west of Tsingtao and Wanshens. The captain, William Dee, an Englishman, was seriously wounded. The Canadian chief mate and the Chinese quartermaster were also injured, though less seriously. They were transferred to the American gunboat Wilkie, and were rushed to Tsingtao for medical attention.
