SELASSIE’S BODYGUARD
ORDER FOR CHARGERS FROM AUSTRALIA MELBOURNE, April 1. The Emperor of Abyssinia, Hail# Selassie, has placed an order through the Australian Government for 180 chargers to mount the imperial bodyguard at Addis Ababa. The Abyssinian authorities have : asked for • 60 horses, about four years old" and 63in high. Negotiations were opened, with the Australian Legation: in: Paris during the United Nations conference in October. / -■ > ' . An experienced horse master and grooms will accoippany the chargers to Djibuti, in French Somaliland, with which Addis Ababa is connected' by rail. ' 1 ' .
