'ROSE MARIE'
The popular musical play, ‘Rose Marie/ was enjoyed by another largo audience at His Majesty’s last night. The artistry of Allen Christie and Joy Beattie has lost none of its popularity, and these performers, who take the leading roles, captivated the house with their fine interpretations of the evergreen melodies which run through the story. The supporting .players, including Marie Ryan, Denis; ' Hartley, Norma Neville, Allan Eddy, Vaughan Tracy, Percy Martin, Ralphine Sprague, Edward Hunt, and Betty Pounder, are all happily placed. In order to meet the heavy bookings, the company will present two additional performances on its return from Invercargill. These will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 13 and 14. '
