‘ THE LATE CHRISTOPHER BEAN ‘ The audience which attended the performance of ‘ The Late Christopher Bean ’ at His Majesty’s Theatre last night by Whitehall Productions was treated to entertainment of an exceptionally high order. Every performer was at home in his proper part, Miss Megs Jenkins, as. Gwenny, the servant girl who was secretly married to the artist,: was . outstanding. Nellie Bramley and Norman Blackler also gave polished performances as Dr and Mrs Haggitt, while June Mendoza, Victor Lloyd, Frederick Hughes, James Kilburn, Donald Bamforth, Cynthia Carrol, -■ arid John Sherman all gave of their best in the lesser roles. The production will be staged again to-night, and will conclude to-morrow night. .
