WRITING A TREATISE
CONDEMNED NAZI DOCTOR
HAMBURG, February 17.
Dr Percy Treite, who was. condemned to death for activities in the Ravensbruck women’s concentration camp, is writing a treatise on his research in the diagnosis of gynaecological cancer. He hopes to finish the treatise before lie goes to the gallows.
The Judge Advocate described Treite during the. trial as a doctor with a European reputation. Treite is .appealing against his conviction and sentence: If • the appeal fails his execution is .expected in two months’ time.
