SQUATTERS IN TOWN HALL
COMPLAINT OF SANITATION (Rec. 8 a.m.) BRISBANE, Feb. 18. The City Council started legal action to-day to remove from the Sduth Brisbane Town Haj! three families of squatters who moved in during the week-end. The squatters made the first official move when they called on the Lord Mayor (Mr Chandler) concerning sanitation. • “ They have no <right to be * there. They do not have to put up with inconveniences. They can . get out,” said Mr Chandler, refusing to see them.
