ARREST AT DARUNGHURST
(Rec. 11.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. IS. Late last night four detectives with pistols drawn raided a Darlinghurst flat and arrested Cecil John Rolls, aged 24, a dealer, in connection with yesterday’s jewel robbery. He was later charged with armed robbery. The detectives have not yet recovered the stolen jewellery. Rolls was arrested when fpur detectives forced a wav into the flat building, while six others surrounded it. On entering a third-floor flat they found Rolls and -another man and woman. The ethers did not interfere while Rolls was searched and handcuffed. Rolls was recently sentenced to two years’ imprisonment .for carrying an unlicensed pistol, but was released on bail pending the hearing of an appeal. !
