RISE OF 25 PER CEHT. SOUGHT (Rec. 8 a.m.) OTTAWA, Feb. 16. Thirteen thousand coal miners in Nova Scotia and New Brunswidk struc-k, halting half of Canada’s coal production. The miners demanded 140 cents daily increase on the basic daily raVo of 584 cents, but rejected the mine owners’ proposal that some of the increase should be awarded gradually on the basis of increased production per man.
