FIJIAN SEAMEN'S CHOIR

Although it -did not make an appearance until late in the programme, devoted mostly to some items by a small party of local performers, a Fijian choir from the vessel Salamaua, at present berthed at Dunedin, entertained a small audience last night in the Concert Chamber with singing that was at once particularly appealing because of its tonal purity and attractive harmony. The entertainment was arranged in aid of the Dunedin Seamen’s Mission, and the Wanda Concert Party provided most of the items.
