WAR AMPUTEES
EXECUTIVE METING The monthly meeting of the executive of the Otago and Southland War Amputees’ Association was held last night, the president, Mr G. Bingham, being in thb chair. Also present were Messrs L. J. MoFelin, C. E. H. Wilson, T. R. McKenzie, H. Johnson, E. Jones, W. Norman, G. Meggett, A. Mitchell, A. N. Wilson, and A. J. Gordon. Mr G. Meggett was appointed lion, auditor to fill the vacancy caused by Mr N. Jones leaving the district.* A letter of congratulation was sent to Sister Jeffery on her award of the M.8.E., in the New Year honours A good deal of dissatisfaction was expressed with the new webbing equipment now on issue to amputees, and _it was decided to write to the Registrar of Pensions with a view to obtaining an improvement
