MARCHING CHAMPIONSHIPS

TWO DUNEDIN TEAMS The Blair Athol girls’ marching team from the Roslyn Mills, winners of the Otago women’s marching championships, in company with the Aotea marching team, winners of the Southland marching championships, left today en route to Hastings to compete in the New Zealand girls’ marching championship, under the auspices of the New Zealand Women’s Marching and Recreation Association. The following comprise the company; —Miss E. Hawker (leader), Misses P Hardy, L. McKeitch, W. Paul, E. Henderson, G. Cooper, F. Harborne, O. Harborne, E. Brown, R. Hastings, P. Hastings, and E. Ridding; Mrs Muldrew (chaperon), H. Cameron (coach), Mrs Cameron. Mr and Mrs L. B. Swan (committee). The Aotea team, also from Roslyn Mills, comprises—Miss S. Stevens (leader), Misses J. Cunningham .1 Mackle, J. Alilbrandt, C. Still, C. Lovett, P. Mason, G. Johnston,. M. Wilde, E. Jenkins, C. Galloway, Miss C. Scholes .(chaperon). Mr H. Devlin (coach), and Mr Stewart.
