OTAGO CHAMPIONSHIPS Before an attendance of about 1,000 the Otago surf, .life, saving championships were held at Kaka Point on Sunday in excellent weather. The championships were conducted by the Kaka Point Club, .under the direction of its president, CVlr D. Lattimore, and the referee' was Mr J. L. Mclndoe, the marshal, Mr A. Kingsland, and the assistant marshal, Mr O. Jones. The judges ‘ were (Messrs F. H. Jackson, H. C. Sidford, Lattimore, and Mclndoe. In the junior 'beltman’s championship all teams were disqualified. Following are the results:—
