HARDSHIP FOR TRAVELLERS
NO FULL MEALS AT RAHWAY STATION (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 8. . Because of lack of staff, tlie Wellington railway station dining room is closing down to-morrow. The cafeteria is remaining open. The staff shortage in the dining room has continued for some time, though tlie waitresses were offered £4 for a 40-hour week spread over seven days and travel concessions. Only one waitress was secured of 14 required.
