GENERAL MARK CLARK
APPOINTED TO HOME COMMAND WILL FIRST ATTEND MOSCOW TALKS (Rec. 8 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 7. General Mark Clark, commander of the American occupation forces in
Austria, will be replaced by Lieu-tenant-general Geoffrey Keys, at present commander of the Third Army in Germany. General Clark will take command. of the United States Sixth Army, with his headquarters at San Francisco, but he is not expected to return to the United States until after the Moscow talks on the Austrian peace treaty, at which he will deputise for Mr Byrnes.
