LARGE SUNFISH CAUGHT AT DUNEDIN WHARVES.—Meastoring 7ft in length, 7ft in width, and 2ft 6in through, this large sunfish was landed on the wharf near the Otago Harbour 1 Board offices to-day. Early this morning the fish was observed swimming around the harbour in an-exhausted condition, and later it was found stranded on the- rocks beneath the (Birch street wharf. With the aid of ropes and a lorry it was hauled on to the wharf, where it was the centre of attraction for numerous spectators throughout the day. It has been estimated to weigh, 25cwt.
