JEWISH AGENCY
ATTITUDE TO TERMSTS MEASURES TO TERMINATE ACTIVITIES (Rec. 10.5 a.m.) LONDON. Nov. 21. The Jewish Agency spokesman announced in Jerusalem that the agency had taken “ certain measures ” to bring about termination of terrorist activity in Palestine. The spokesman declined to define these measures. He reiterated the agency’s claim that misgovernment of Palestine had caused the terrorism. Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent says it is reliably considered in London that the Palestine Conference may be postponed until January, 1947. Jewish leaders are anxious that the conference should be delayed until after the Zionist Congress at Basle on December 23. when the congress will decide whether the Jewish delegation will attend the resumed Palestine Conference in London.
