COMMUNITY SING
APPEAL FAR LEPER FUND The twenty-first community sing of the. season was held in the Strand Theatre yesterday, there being a good attendance. The guest performer was Miss Jessie Hodges, a “ yodelling cowgirl,” who was well received. As usual, Mr H. P. Desmoulins was assisted by Mr J. F. Himburg, with Mr Alf. Pettitt at the piano. The day’s collection amounted to £125, and was in aid of the Leper Fund. There are only two more community sings this season, and next week’s sing is to aid the health camps.
