CANTERBURY BEATS WAIRARAPA
RAGGED EXHIBITION (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 11. In a ragged display Canterbury beat the Wairarapa representatives to-day by 14 points to 11. The attendance was 3,000. For Canterbury tries were scored by Bain, Bolton, and Kelly, one being converted by Lucre, who' kicked a penalty gaol. For Wairarapa, Mason • and Porter scored tries, one being converted by..Mahupuka, who also kicked a penalty goal.
