INQUIRY INTO ABSENCE’ OF LABOUR ’ MEMBERS SYDNEY, September 10. Labour Party officials have commenced an inquiry into the absence of two Labour members of the Legislative Godncil last night when tlie Government was defeated by two votes on amendments to the Coal Bill. -Both men face expulsion from the party if they fail to give satisfactory explana-* tions as to why they were not present.
