THREE YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT NUREMBERG, September 10, The Purge Court sentenced Hans Winkler, former editor of Streicher’s anti-Jewish paper, ‘ Die Sturmer,’ to three years in a labour camp, and ordered the confiscation of half his property “ in order to redeem his Nazi past.” Winkler, who was a member of the London staff of the German News Agency in 1935-38, also loses his citizen’s rights for five years and may not accept public office.
