WOMEN'S HOCKEY
EXECUTIVE MEETING A meeting of the executive of the Otago Women’s Hockey Association, held on Tuesday, was attended by Mrs Sonntag (in the chair]), Mrs Quaid, Misses Warburton, Smith, Henderson, and Mr Leith. The Secondary School Girls’ Association was granted permission to use the Oval grounds on Saturday morning for a seven-a-side tournament, and the O.S.P.S.S.A. was given permission to use two grounds on the Oval on Saturday. It was decided that the outstanding, match in the A2 grade, University R v. University C, must be played this week, as cup points were affected. The senior seven-a-side tournament will be held on September 21, and the closing date for entries is Saturday, September 14. The following grades were declared closed:—Bl grade: Otago, 25 points, 1. B2 grade: St. Hilda’s A, 19 points,
