£3OO MINIMUM
MARRIED MEN IN COUNCIL EMPLOY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. A recommendation that the minimum remuneration of all married men in the council’s service be fixed at £3OO a year, inclusive of all cost of living allowances, and that where the remuneration worked out at less an allowance be paid at suitable intervals to raise the total annual figure (exclusive of overtime) to that figure was adopted at yesterday’s meeting of the Wellington City Council.
