NAVAL ARTILLERY
DUNEDIN ASSOCIATION'S REUNION The Ex-Dunedin Naval Artillery Association held its annual reunion on Saturday last. The president, Mr C. ltiddell, occupied the chair, and associated with him were past-presidents— Messrs R. A. Mackie, W. A. St. Clair, R. Smith, W. A. Palmer, W. B. Fowler, W. T. Milward, and H. G. Dougherty. The guests of the evening were Lieutenants W. Williamson and J. Allen, .R.N.V.R., Mr A. Campbell, Mr G. -F. McKellai - , Mr K. Melville, and Mr G. Hill, members'of the ExDunedim Highland • Rifles-- Association^ and Mr C. Allen. •
During the evening the following I toasts were honoured:—“The King and Empire ” (Mr C. Riddell); “ The Old Brigade ” (Mr G. F. McKellar, Mr R. A. Mackie) ; “ Absent and Fallen Comrades ” (Mr D. G. McKay, who referred to the recent deaths of members of the old company); “ The Navy and All Services ” (Mr J. Dove, Lieutenant W. Williamson); “ The Highland Rifles Association ” (Mr W. A. St. Clair, Mr A. Campbell); “ The Association’s Past Presidents ” (Mr A. Stevens, Mr W. T. Milward). Items were given by Mr W. A. St. Clair’s band and by Messrs W. Duff, J. J. Scott, E. Morgan, J. Barnes, and W. B. Fowler (trumpet solo). Mr W. Hardy conducted the community singing. and Messrs P. Beaumont and C. Halligan were the accompanists.,
