BARE SALES LIST WEAKNESS IN AUSTRALIAN LEADERS With weakness persisting in Australian shares and hesitancy marking operations in some New Zealand leaders, the Dunedin market experienced an unusually quiet call this morning with no business recorded, Markedly cautious limits were quoted. by buyers in the Australian mining section, the best offer for Lyells touching only 22s and only 35s for Broken Hill Souths. B.H.P.s did not fare much better with a best purchaser quoting 475, while Sydney Woolwortlhs and British Tobaccos were also reflecting uncertainty. . Most New Zealand issues held recent prices and there was little change in the early sections. New Zealand Breweries lost ground, however, with vendors finishing at 575.
