EX-SERVICEMEN ENTERTAINED
An enjoyable evening was held at the Caledonian Club when the staff of John Chambers and Son Ltd., welcomed homo the balance of the 22 members of the staff who served in the forces. Dancing was interrupted for supper during which appropriate toasts were honoured. In proposing the toast of the men, tbe manager, Mr 11. F. Henderson, stated that the firm had a proud record of .having had 190 members throughout New Zealand serving in the forces. The remainder of the evening was pleasantly spent in dancing.
