ST. CLAIR AMENITIES
ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION Tlio resumption of pre-war activities, particularly with regard to the raising of funds for amenities in the district, was decided at the eighteenth 'annual meeting on Tuesday of the St. Clair Amenities and Improvement Association. The report and balance sheet presented disclosed a healthy financial position. Eulogistic reference was made to the services rendered by the retiring president, Mr E. N. Falck, and a minute of appreciation was recorded. The usual annual vote towards the cost of providing the beach patrol was made to the surf club. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr M. A. Robson; vicepresidents, Messrs S. Owen and N. D. Anderson; treasurer, Mr H. H. Henderson; honorary solicitor. Mr W. Ward: auditor, Mr R. Crooks; secretary, Mr F. L. McFarlane; assistant secretary. ,Mr T. Grant; committee— Messrs T. W. Booker, B. Simonsen, E. Ruben. B. Crooks, H. D. Gillies, J. Starr, and G. L. Ferguson.
