NAVAL ASSOCIATION
FIHST POST-WAR KEETIKG Alter nearly four years of inactivity, during which most of its members were on active service, the Dunedin branch of the Ex-Royal Naval Men's Association, an organisation which has sprendl to almost all corners of the earth with which the British Navy's White Ensign made contact, 'held its first post-war meeting recently. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr J. A. Kinch; " vicepresident, Mr S. Jamicson; treasurer, Mr A. L. /Carlyle; auditors, Messrs I. Pnrard and P. S. Jenkin;'committee— Messrs 11. Buck, S. Hopkins, W, E. Chalmers, J. .V. Petrie. and J. McKenzie. • Reference was made to the deaths of Mr A. J. Dean and Mr G. Burt, past presidents of the Dunedin branch, Mr G. W Cardno, of Port Chalmers, Mr W. H. Fleming, of Wakari, am) Mr G. T. Alclerton, of Dunedin, and a motion of sympathy with the relative* was carried in silence.
