LICENSING TRUST NOT AFFECTED (Special. WELLINGTON, April 17. When the Electoral Boundaries Commission made changes in the Invercargill electorate it excluded one portion in which the Licensing Trust proposes to operate. Concern was expressed over this possible interference with the trust's plans, but the legislation indicates a clear intention that the trust should operaie in the Invercargill licensing district, and the electoral changes have been made under the terms of a statute which expressly maintains the original licensing districts, regardless of electoral boundary alterations. When these points were discussed with the Prime Minister, Mr Eraser, to-day he commented that if-any difficulty involving the Licensing J rnst operations arose over the new boundaries, it would be rectified by legislation.
