TRADE WITH RUSSIA
SOVIET COMMERCIAL ATTACHE fOR DOMINION •P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 17. A commercial attache is to be appointed to the Soviet Legation in New Zealand in due course, said the Soviet Minister, M. Ziabkin, last night. M. Ziabkin added that, in view of shipping and other difficulties, it was impossible to say when the attache was likely to arrive. The Minister said that since coming to Wellington he had heen approached by a number of business men wishing to buy goods from the Soviet Union and to sell others in return. He felt that the full possibilities of Soviet-New Zealand trade could be better explored when a eoinmercal attache took up his duties in the Dominion.
