SEED-TESTING STATION
TRANSFER SOUTH URGED (P. A,) CHUtISTCHUBCH, April 15. Support for action to have the seedtesting station transferred to the South Island was pledged by organisations represented at a conference called in Chnstchurch to-night by the North Canterbury agricultural section of the Federated Fanners. Organisations represented at the meeting were the Canterbury A. and P. Association, the Canterbury Progress League, the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, South Island members of the Grain, Seed, and Produce Merchants' Federation, the South Island Local Bodies' Association, the Federated Farmers (Southland), and the Federated Farmers (North Canterbury).
