DISPUTE SETTLED. After a five-day stoppage the men of the New Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser Company resumed at 1 o'clock this afternoon. The Disputes Committee meets at* the earliest opportunity, and in the meantime only one plant is operating. Ninety men have been idle since Wednesday last.—New Plymouth Press Association. COMMUNISTS ATTACK CHANGCHUN.. * CHUNGKING, April 14. The Central News Agency reported that Communist troops attacked Changchun airfields as the last Russian occupation guards commenced their withdrawal from the city.
